Cover Art: Nova War by Gary Gibson

Gary has the cover for his next book, Nova War, up at his blog, but because it's such a nice looking cover I'll re-post it here for your viewing pleasure:


Is it me or does it have a retro feel about it?

Pretty retro, the ship reminds me of that one 'UFO' pic that ended up being a fake or something, but it also reminds me a bit of Jim Burns' work (it's epic and huge, like Jim's stuff), but all in all it's pretty cool. :-)
