I've been searching a lot of space images online recently (I go through these phases) and the images that are being captured astound me in ways I just can't describe. Some of the pictures are truly amazing regardless of which method is used to photograph them (visible light, infra red, etc). Each time I look at some of these I am truly humbled, our place in this galaxy is put into perspective and the beauty of the universe can put anything man made to shame.
Of the sites I've found the
Hubble one is by far the best at the moment, although I'd love to hear of any others you might know of :) Some of my favourites are below and I welcome any comments or links that could expose me to even more wonderful stuff!
