A Silly, Yet Entertaining List of Books

I've only read 5 of those, but have another 5 or so waiting (I really should start to buy more hardbacks, they're almost the same price these days).
Out of the five I'd already read, "House of Suns" by Alastair Reynolds was my favourite.
Short list should be interesting!
There are plenty I would like to read from that list, but I'm afraid House of Suns isn't one of them, rather one of my disappointments of the year. I think Infoquake, Kethani and Temporal Void are much more worthy novels...
Based on your comment, I bought Edelman's "Infoquake" recently - thanks for the recommendation!
Well, actully the only one I'veread is Man in the Dark by Auster. Though a big Auster fan, I should say that at first I was excited, then disappointed and finally I was quite happy with the book. It is not until the end that I really found what Auster was trying to tell me.
Not Auster's best but not so dissapointing as many people says.
