Monday Update

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I did until I fell of a sledge yesterday while trying to go down a hill standing up. I'll never learn...

So, a quick update. Books I've finished that will be reviewed soon are:

• Cosmopath by Eric Brown
• Flashforward by Robert J Sawyer
• Gaunt's Ghosts: Blood Pact by Dan Abnett

I've also read the two Serenity/Firefly comics I picked up last year, but they'll (hopefully) be getting posted over at Temple Library Reviews for Harry's Comic Book Appreciation Month.

Books I've got in the review stack that I'll be tackling soon are:

• Forbidden Knowledge by Stephen Donaldson (currently reading)
  
• Terminal World by Alastair Reynolds
• Eon: Rise of the Dragoneye by Alison Goodman
• Under The Dome by Stephen King (possibly!)

Also, in December I did a poll about what fantasy to read next, but this doesn't look like it's going to happen. The winner was Night's of Villjamur by Mark Charan Newton and although I started reading it I just couldn't get into it. There was nothing wrong with what I read, it was just that Mark's style is one that I can see taking a while for me to adjust to and at the moment I have a lot of books that I want to read more than this one. Sorry all, but you'll just have to read other reviews about how good it is ;)
