Monday Update

Not much going on here at the moment, so time for another Monday update!

I've only got one review in the works at the moment as my reading has been appalling recently. Spellwright by Blake Charlton is the last books I finished and the review should be up sometime during the week, probably Thursday or Friday. I'm now also plowing through The Orphaned Worlds by Mike Cobley and only have a hundred or so pages left - it's all kicking off with many things hopefully to be addressed before the end of this volume, but with a third book left in the series I don't expect too many resolutions. I've also finished both Starship: Mutiny and Starship: Pirate by Mike Resnick and the third, Starship: Mercenary, on the the go via my iPhone at the moment. I'm keeping these, and hopefully finishing the whole series, ready for the Sci-Fi Appreciation Month, so expect reviews on consecutive days sometime in April.

I've also got Final Fantasy XIII on the go, but with little time free last week I've not had the chance to play much of it. I expect that some of my free time will by absorbed by that game too in the coming weeks and months.

I've got so many books sitting on the stack now I'm not so sure where to start, and with many of them on the must-read list it'll be an interesting few months! So, time for a poll methinks :) I've set it up on the right, so please cast your vote so I can give my poor brain time without thinking too much about it!! You'll probably notice that there are only a couple of new books on it, but they're all relatively short and I want something quick and enjoyable to read.

I'm also waiting for The Great Bazaar by Peter V Brett to arrive this week and once it does it'll be straight to the top of the pile :) Not long until The Desert Spear now...
